8-2 Journal: Eating Disorders

After reviewing the module resources, and completing some research on your own, write a journal assignment in approximately 100-150 words, that considers the following questions:

• How do social interactions (interactions with friends, family, coworkers, anybody at school, home, and work) contribute to disordered eating?
• What role do food labels play in contributing to eating disorders?
• How can people in the immediate social environment (friends, family, or acquaintances) help or hinder a person’s progress following treatment?
