Movie Review – 2016SP_MKT_6340_70_Seminar in Marketing Description: This is not just a movie review or summary of the plot, it goes deeper into analysis and reaction. Imagine yourself to be a marketer in the media industry. The movie you choose should be the one you want to market. You would also analyze the storyline with the lens of marketing. These are two important things to keep in mind for this assignment. It is a very different kind of assignment, that you have probably, never done before! You can make it as much fun as you want. The review should be typed in a double-spaced using a 12 point, easily readable font and should be between 2-4 pages. Do not exceed 5 pages. Body There are two main sections for this part. The first is an explanation of what the movie is about. The second is your opinion as a marketing student. What are the pros and cons of watching this movie? Does it sell ‘excitement’? If yes, to whom? Explanation Give a brief summary of the plot in which you identify the main characters, describe the setting and give a sense how this movie (plot) has a few elements of concepts that we have studied in marketing.
